CipherBC Email Tracker
CipherBC Email Tracker is the internal CRM and email-engagement dashboard used by the CipherBC business-development team. It tracks outbound prospect emails sent from team members’ Gmail accounts, records opens, link clicks, replies, and bounces, and surfaces those signals in a per-lead pipeline view.
This is a private, invite-only application distributed to authorised team members at CipherBC. There is no public sign-up.
Tracked outreach
Emails sent from connected Gmail accounts are tagged with a tracking pixel and click redirects so engagement is visible to the BD owning the lead.
Lead pipeline
Every prospect is tracked through stages (new → contacted → meeting → won/lost). The dashboard surfaces totals, follow-ups, and per-BD ownership.
Gmail-scoped
The app uses Google's Gmail API only for the user-authorised account: reading sent threads to detect replies and sending tracked emails on the user's behalf.
How Google user data is used
When a team member connects their Gmail account, CipherBC Email Tracker uses Google’s Gmail API to (1) send tracked emails on their behalf from the dashboard’s send-email flow, and (2) read messages in the user’s SENT folder to detect replies and bounces on those tracked outbound emails. The app only accesses messages tied to the authorised account. We do not read email unrelated to the user’s own outbound tracked sends.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
